Commercial locksmith services in Fort Worth
Commercial work is a different discipline from residential. Doors get used hundreds of times a day, hardware has to meet fire and life-safety code, and a failed lock is not an inconvenience but a closed business.
Bluebonnet Lock & Key is being set up to serve Fort Worth businesses, landlords, and property managers with hardware that holds up and a keying plan that makes sense on paper before it goes on the doors.

What this covers
- Master key systems designed so the right people open the right doors
- Panic bars and exit devices, installed to code
- Door closers adjusted or replaced
- Keypad and fob access control
- Grade 1 commercial hardware for high-traffic entrances
- Rekeying after staff turnover or a tenant change
- File cabinet, desk, and cam locks

Questions people actually ask
What is a master key system?
A keying plan where each person carries a key that opens only what they need, while a master key opens everything above it. A manager's key might open every door in the building, while a tenant's key opens only their unit. It is designed on paper first, because a badly planned system is very expensive to unwind later.
Do you work with property managers and landlords?
Yes — turnover rekeys between tenants are core commercial work, and we expect to do a lot of them. If you manage multiple properties it is usually worth setting up a keying plan across all of them rather than treating each unit separately.
Is panic hardware required for my business?
It depends on occupancy type and load, and it is set by fire code rather than by preference. If you are unsure, that is a question worth asking before an inspection rather than after one. We can look at your doors and tell you what the code calls for.
Can you service hardware you did not install?
Yes. Most commercial calls involve hardware that has been on the door for years. Door closers in particular can usually be adjusted back to working order rather than replaced.
